Process shot for my conceptual “treehouse”. Assignment requires a branch and two uses of the fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc.
Materials so far: Wooden dowels (1/8th inch), wooden board, tree branch, & hot glue.
Photos from a type+photo design workshop at University of the Arts in Philadelphia taught by Franz Werner. Over the course of a week, Franz pushed us to design with light. After some experiments, I had come up with a product I was happy with. The final product (the first image) was not manipulated. All shapes and colors were projected onto the mylar, which was hanging in the center of the room. The composition was then photographed and used as a book cover.
Materials:
Bristol board, plexiglass, frosted mylar, projected red & blue light, digital photo.
